Tatane: poker, with spells.

A 5×5 board, you against the bot or pvp online, one deck. Every row and every column is a poker hand. Place cards to build pairs, three of a kind, straights and flushes, and steal the bot's lines by beating its hands. Every point you score comes out of its side of the gauge. First to 1000 points wins.

Making a combo lets you play again. Chain them well and you can turn the game around in a single turn.

Spells change everything. Boosters appear on the board. Open them to pick animated spell cards that set traps, hide cards in fog, reshape the board or mess with the bot's hand. The rarer golden spells are even stronger.

Build your deck of 10 spells: your boosters draw from it. Unique Illustrator cards also hide in the draw pile, each one with its own twist on the rules.

A bot that plays fair. The bot never cheats. It doesn't see your hand, your traps or what's hidden in the fog. It only knows what you would know in its place, and it thinks through possible endings to the game before every move. There are three difficulty levels. Easy is good for learning. Hard is a real challenge, and beating it takes a lot of skill.
